Top BJP leader warns Aamir Khan to be ready to face the music

BJP general secretary Kailash Vijayvargiya has hinted teaching a lesson to the actor during the release of his upcoming film Dangal.

A day after BJP leader Ram Madhav advised Aamir Khan to preach his wife about India’s prestige, Vijayvargiya in a public rally in Indore said he gets angry whenever anyone talks about intolerance.

In a direct reference to Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir, Vijayvargiya said “we have already taught one a lesson, not it’s the turn of the other. It’s time for Dangal me Mangal.”

In a recent interview, Khan had said a sense of “insecurity” and “fear” had seeped

deep within society, even in his family. “(Wife) Kiran and I have lived all our lives in India. For the first time, she said, should we move out of India? That’s a disastrous and big statement for Kiran to make to me. She fears for her child. She fears about what the atmosphere around us will be. She feels scared to open the newspapers everyday.

That does indicate that there is a sense of growing disquiet,” he had said. Aamir is currently shooting for Dangal, a film on wrestling, in Punjab. The movie is slated to release December this year.
