CHAMAN: Three people including a tribal leader were injured as a bomb exploded in Balochistan’s city Chaman, ARY News reported.
According to police, the bomb was planted near the shop of a tribal leader, Haji Bawal Khan, in a vegetable market on Boghra road of Chaman.
Three people including the tribal leader were among the injured who have been immediately shifted to a medical facility as per initial reports.
The security forces have cordoned off the area and a search operation is being conducted after the incident.
Last month, at least 10 people, including prayer leader of the mosque, were wounded in another blast in Chaman. The site of the incident was near the Pakistan-Afghan border.
The blast took place at Eidgah Qadeemi Masjid while Maghreb prayer was underway.
Sources said some explosive device went off in a cupboard kept in the mosque.
