ISLAMABAD: British High Commissioner to Pakistan Thomas Drew called on prime minister-designate Imran Khan at his Banigala residence, official twitter account of PTI notified.
The British envoy congratulated Khan over his party’s victory in General Elections 2018. Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chief Imran Khan underlined the significance of bilateral ties between Pakistan and Britain, noting that a great number of Pakistanis reside in Britain.
“We will bring back all the laundered money of Pakistan from Britain,” Khan vowed during the meeting.
Thomas Drew assured of complete cooperation with the new leadership of Pakistan and stated “The address of Imran Khan to the nation, following his electoral triumph, left a very promising impression on the British government.”

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan also made a telephone call to Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Imran Khan on Tuesday.
He felicitated the PTI chief on victory of his party in general election 2018 and expressed well wishes for upcoming democratic government in Pakistan.
Both leaders agreed to start a new era of relation between the two brotherly Islamic countries.
