ISLAMABAD: Caretaker Information Minister Syed Ali Zafar has ruled out any chance of postponement or delay in general elections.
In an interview on Tuesday, he said that General Elections 2018 will be held on July 25, regardless of any likely judgment of the accountability court in Avenfield Reference against former prime minister Nawaz Sharif and his family members.
Syed Ali Zafar said it was responsibility of caretaker set up to ensure free, fair and transparent elections and this task would be accomplished amicably.
