- A CCTV footage has emerged of the murder of Punjab University student in India’s Chandigarh state. The victim identified as Navjot Singh, an engineering student, was murdered following a clash between students and some outsiders.
According to university officials, the confrontation took place when some outsiders got into a fight out the engineering college. This led the accused to stab the student who was Government Rajindra hospital where he succumbed to stand injuries.
The video was recorded by a student from top floor of the university showing the attackers on bike fleeing from the scene. On the other hand, some people were seen helping to transport the victim to the hospital.
A total of five students were injured in the clash including the victim Navjot Singh.
