Citizen shot dead two in Karachi amid robbery attempt

KARACHI: A man shot dead two suspected robbers amid a robbery attempt at Karachi’s Tariq Road, ARY News reported on Monday.

The two looters tried to rob Abdul Rehman at Tariq Road, was buying food from an eatery in the area. Rehman opened fire at the robbers from his licensed gun, area police said.

One of the slain robbers have been identified as Agha Gul, who is said to be involved in several incidents of street crimes.

According to Police, two passersby also sustained bullet injuries during the incident.

Law enforcement agencies have launched investigation of the shooting incident.

The dead bodies of the two slain suspects were shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) for post-mortem.
