The court ordered the authorities to submit their compliance report of the decision tomorrow.
During the hearing Justice Anwar Zaheer Jamali questioned about the writ of the government in the country.
The bench in a dialogue with the counsel of Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) asked, “Do you want a civil war in the country?” If one Lac persons have gathered today to unseat the government, two Lac will gather next time to demolish the next government,” the bench observed. Do you think these steps will help in running the state,” the court further said.
Justice Saqib Nisar said, “You continue your protest. Supreme Court would not stop you, neither it can. But don’t use the apex court as laundry to wash the political dirt.” “For God sake follow the constitution.”
“The parties’ argument that their workers are not prepared to go back, shows that the leaders have no control over their workers,” the judge observed.
After the court hearing, the Attorney General of Pakistan, Registrar of the court and the counsels of PAT and PTI reached to the Constitution Avenue for opening the road.
