LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar on Tuesday inaugurated the mobile application of police Khidmat Marakaz to facilitate the masses, ARY News reported.
Sardar Usman Buzdar today visited central police office (CPO) where he inaugurated the mobile application and also visited the complaint center to review the complaint redressal mechanism.
According to a statement released from his office, the chief minister said that the launch of the mobile application of Khidmat Marakaz would facilitate the citizens who would be able to get necessary updates about 14 services.

The online redressal of citizens’ complaints was a good initiative and round-the-clock working of complaint center should be reviewed as well, he added. The chief minister also inspected the monitoring room set up for eradication of crimes through the latest equipment.
Later, Sardar Usman Buzdar presided over a meeting at the CPO and asked the police officers to come up to the expectations of the people. The meeting also decided to change the police’s uniform from upcoming financial year of 2019-20.
