According to details, CM Sindh Murad Ali Shah arrived at Garhi Khuda Bakhsh along with members of the provincial cabinet where they offered Fateha at the graves of ex-premiers.
Speaking to media on the occasion, the chief minister said that he learnt how to serve the people from Benazir Bhutto.
“We will follow the footsteps of our leaders and will serve the people with my cabinet,” Shah said.
Shah added that the law enforcement agencies will take action against terrorists in all parts of the province while the issue of extension of Rangers’ powers will also be resolved soon.
“Terrorism is a countrywide issue and the military has played a key role in Operation Zarb-e-Azb. Civilian forces have become more stronger due to the military operations”, Shah said.
He went on to say that corruption in a countrywide issue. He added that a strategy will be finalized for ensuring that corruption does not happen in the future.
He thanked Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) over not fielding a candidate against him in the elections for the position of chief minister.
Later, he has left for Dubai to meet Co-Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party Asif Ali Zardari to discuss different issues including Rangers powers issue.
