KARACHI: Corps Commander of Karachi called on Chief Minister of Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah and held consultations with him over the ongoing operation for law and order in Karachi, ARY News reported on Wednesday.
New Corps Commander Lieutenant General Shahid Baig Mirza in his meeting with Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah discussed the ongoing operation in Karachi, enforcement of the National Action Plan in Sindh and efforts to consolidate peace in the metropolis.
The corps commander and the chief minister also discused implementation of the decisions of the provincial Apex Committee.
The chief minister said that huge sacrifices have been made for the peace in Karachi adding that no one will be allowed to harm the peace in the city.
He said the positive results of the targeted operation have been achieved with strengthened coordination among all institutions.
