Corps Commanders review security situation

Military commanders, during the routine conference held at the GHQ Rawalpindi, exchanged views with each other on training and professional affairs of the Pakistan Army.

During the meeting, participants were briefed about the DG Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) visit to the United States (US).

 

The conference reviewed progress of operations Zarb-e-Azb and Khyber-1, and expressed its satisfaction over it.

Sources told that affairs relating to the return of IDPs, to areas cleared during the operation, were also discussed on the occasion.

Moreover, the participants were briefed on overall security situation of the country, Pak-Afghan border affairs and progress of recent contacts made between the military leadership of the two neighboring countries.
