Fawad stressed the need to revamp lower judiciary such as the civil and the district courts.
Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Mian Saqib Nisar in a statement in July said that despite all the criticism, judiciary stood as a guardian of democracy and the constitution.
The chief justice maintained that judiciary had to act against mafias because of the leadership vacuum in the country otherwise he, as a juror, detested judicial activism.
The top judge also took credit for the timely conduct of general elections and said that a senior journalist too praised his efforts in this regard.
