Country’s liquid foreign reserves reach $18,598m, says SBP

The break-up of the foreign reserves position is as follows:

i) Foreign reserves held by the State Bank of Pakistan: US$ 13,555.7  million

ii) Net foreign reserves held by banks : US$    5,042.3  million

iii) Total liquid foreign reserves                 :    US$   18,598.0  million

During the week ending 04 September, 2015, SBP’s Liquid FX Reserves increased by US$95 million to US$13,556 million, compared to US$13,461 million in the previous week.
