Faisal Town Police produced accused Gullu Butt in the special court hearing Model Town firing case in which 14 workers of Pakistan Awami Tehreek were killed.
Police after end of the previous remand period produced the accused in the court and pleaded to ATC Judge Rai Ayub for extension in physical remand of the accused. Police informed the court that the stick which was
used by Gullu Butt in the incident, was recovered but the gun he used in the incident was still untraced. Moreover, the investigators have to interrogate him about the people who were behind the incident.
The court granted five days’ physical remand of Gullu Butt to police and ordered the police to submit its investigation report in the next hearing of the case.
