LAHORE: Chief Minister of Punjab Shahbaz Sharif has said that a crackdown will be done against food adulterators across the province – ARY News reports.
CM Shahbaz chaired a meeting to review the steps taken for the Price Control Mechanism here on Monday. He said that adulterators are not eligible for any discounts and unbiased action will be taken against them.
He claimed that the scope of Food Authority is being expanded.
Shahbaz Sharif has instructed the officials to review the outsourcing of the food testing laboratories and to draft recommendations for making the anti-food adulteration law effective.
CM Shahbaz Sharif also stated that actions will be taken against the overcharging at Petrol Pumps.
