FO spokesman Qazi Khalilullah has said that 22 injured Pakistanis were admitted in three hospitals near Makkah; six of them discharged after necessary medical treatment and only 16 remained in the medical facilities.
Twenty-five Pakistani pilgrims who had sustained minor injuries were provided first aid at the spot, he said.
The spokesman also said that there was no news of any Pakistani national having died in the incident. He said none of the injured was in critical condition.

Pakistan’s Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Manzoor-ul-Haq has said that best medical facilities are being provided to the injured Pakistani pilgrims in Makkah.
In a statement the Ambassador has said that Pakistan Consulate in Jeddah can be reached at 00966126692371 with dialing of extension zero.
An emergency call centre has also been set-up at Ministry of Religious Affairs to provide information about Pakistani pilgrims in Saudi Arabia.
