Several decisions to be taken in better interest of the country: Asad Qaiser

SWABI: Speaker National Asad Qaiser has said that several decisions were to be taken by the government in better interest of the country and the nation, ARY News reported Saturday.

Speaking to media here, Qaiser said he would spoke to Prime Minister Imran Khan about uplift schemes in Swabi.

The NA speaker said the government passed finance bill to provide relief to the business community.

He said a project was being launched for youth and PM Imran Khan would himself make an announcement in this regard.

Qaisar said the parliament approved six legislations and would do more in the coming time.

Yesterday, Balochistan National Party (BNP) chief Akhtar Mengal had called on Speaker National Assembly Asad Qaiser.

Qaiser and Akhtar Mengal exchanged views over the prevalent political situation of the country and Balochistan. BNP leader Senator Jehanzeb Jamaldini was also present in the meeting.

Speaker NA and Mengal agreed to take steps for eliminating of deprivation of Balochistan nationals by the federal and provincial governments. Qaiser said that the province was completely neglected by the rulers in past. He added that the present government was making maximum efforts for resolving issues of Balochistan.

The speaker said that neglected segments could be given rights through comprehensive legislation.
