Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone’s relationship have been going strong for years now, although they have never spelled it out in so many words.
If reports in a leading Indian magazine are to be believed, both are all set to take their relationship to the next level and tie the knot on November 10 this year.
For months, gossip columns have been churning stories about Ranveer and Deepika’s wedding, but now rumours are rife that a wedding date has been finalised.
“The maximum time was taken to decide the date. Both Ranveer and Deepika want everything about their marriage to be perfect. November 10th suited their calendars as well as their parents. The roka was done long back and the wedding date was finalised just few weeks ago,” a source told Indian magazine Filmfare.
It is also known that Ranveer and Deepika might follow in Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma’s footsteps and get married away from the prying eyes of the media in Italy.
“The wedding take place in Italy or Bangalore or both, just like Virat and Anushka’s. The family was also toying with the idea of Udaipur palace but that didn’t work out.”
The source adds, “Preparations are on full swing from both sides. Ladies have begun the wedding shopping. Ranveer is extremely excited about the wedding and is evidently on cloud 9 with both his professional and personal life being on a high.”
Earlier this year, Ranveer had emphasised that marriage was not on the cards anytime soon, but admitted that he had been thinking about it.
“These are things I think about. I try to create a life and work balance. As much as I am consumed by my work at the moment, these things (marriage) are on my mind. But nothing decisive as of now,” he said,
He said that he was neck-deep in his professional commitments and that getting married would have to wait.
