Famous Indian TV actor Divyanka Tripathi got schooled by Twitterati for her ‘exciting’ reaction towards the earthquake.
The irresponsible reaction of the ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ star towards a natural calamity has left social users fuming, many of whom turned to the micro-blogging site to call out the actor.

For the unversed, a 6.6 magnitude earthquake, with its epicentre in Afghanistan, jolted the Northern region of India including the national capital of Delhi and Chandigarh, on Tuesday evening.
Tripathi took to her Instagram stories during the panic situation and said that it is ‘very exciting’ for her to witness the first quake of her life.

“Okay, this is very exciting because I’m experiencing my life’s first earthquake and you won’t feel it like this,” the actor said in the widely circulated clip.
“Gali mohalla sab neeche aa gayi hai in Chandigarh. This is exciting, just for now, jab tak ke zyada nahi hota,” (All the people from the neighbourhood have gathered downstairs… This is exciting for now until it doesn’t get stronger).”
As the clip surfaced on social media, several Twitter users slammed the celebrity for her irresponsible and insensitive remarks towards a natural disaster.
“Imagine someone from Turkey or Syria seeing this after what they’ve been though ….!!!! Natural Disasters are NO joke…!!!!” a user wrote while resharing the video.
Another noted, “People were scared, was in the fear of loosing their everything, and it was exciting for her seriously!”

It is pertinent to mention here that at least nine people were killed and 44 injured in Pakistan by the earthquake that struck Afghanistan on Tuesday.
