Dr Sara murder case: Police submits challan in court

KARACHI: Police submitted Dr Sara murder case chargesheet in the local court on Thursday, ARY News reported.

District and Sessions Court-South hearing Dr Sara murder case. The body of the young woman was recovered from Karachi’s Seaview beach in January this year.

According to the charge-sheet, the victim was thrown in the sea in a semi-conscious condition.

Prime suspect Dr Shan Saleem has also been charged of being involved in rape of women while making false promises of jobs.

Deceased Dr Sara was involved in a brawl with accused Shan Saleem. Accused Waqas and Shan Saleem had deleted CCTV footage and tried to wipe out evidence, police report said.

Police report said that the body of the deceased was not as old as two to three days, but she was thrown in a semi-conscious condition in the sea three hours ago.

“Accused Waqas was accomplice of Shan Saleem in crime. There is substantial evidence to prove murder and kidnapping crime against Waqas, Shan Saleem and Bisma,” according to police challan.

Murder suspects Shan Saleem and Waqas have been on judicial remand in jail, while another accused Bisma has been released on bail.

According to police, Bisma and Shan Saleem had given cell phone of Dr Sara to accused Waqas.
