ISLAMABAD: Presidential candidate of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Dr Arif Alvi on Thursday said efforts were underway for creating ten million jobs and construction of five million houses for the citizens of the country.
“Removing the deprivation sense of neglected provinces is among top priorities of Prime Minister Imran Khan,” he said while addressing a news conference in Peshawar.
He said the PTI had worked hard in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa during its previous tenure and hoped the new chief minister would carry forward the development in all areas.
Dr Arif Alvi was optimistic to win the Presidential election.
Meanwhile, the PTI presidential candidate called on Acting Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mushtaq Ahmed Ghani in Peshawar and discussed matters pertaining to the welfare of people of the province.
Sindh Governor Imran Ismail and National Assembly Deputy Speaker Qasim Suri were also present during the meeting.
Earlier, Consular of the embassy of China in Pakistan also called on the acting governor.
He remained with the acting governor for some time and discussed with him matters of mutual interests including different projects under China Pakistan Economic Corridor.
