Eight bombs defused, one explodes in Karachi; no casualties

The bombs, which were defused in SITE Metroville area, were placed in boxes and concealed in a garbage dump.

Some locals spotted suspicious objects and called the police. The law enforcers, upon arrival, cordoned off the site and summoned Bomb Disposal squad.

Three bombs each were placed in two boxes while two leaned against the wall. The BDS team inspected the entire garbage dump and defused all the eight explosives devices.
