The incident occurred when work for installation of a water motor and boring tube wells was in progress as a live electric wire broke and fell on the ground. As a result eight laborers electrocuted to death while two others were injured. Three brothers were also among deceased.
Following the incident rescue teams along with police reached to the spot. The dead bodies were shifted to the local hospital.
