Independent sources said eight levies personnel were slain in the attack. However official sources did not confirm the death toll.
On the other hand, Secretary Interior Balochistan has confirmed deaths of four personnel in the attack.
Terrorists attacked the check-post with heavy weapons and also targeted a nearby vehicle while fleeing away from the scene.
Security forces have launched a search operation in the area to catch the culprits.
