KARACHI: Eleven people including two Afghan citizens were arrested in overnight police raids across Karachi, ARY News reported.
Police in New Town arrested an alleged target killer reportedly involved in the killing of two people. Police said the suspect Sajad belonged to a political party. Weapons were also recovered from his possession.
Also, Preedy police arrested four people belonging to a political party, and recovered four pistols and two improvised bombs from their possession. The suspects are alleged to be involved in a range of criminal activities including extortion and target killing.
In a separate raid, Jauharabad police in Federal B. Area claimed to arrest two Afghan citizens alleged involved in robbing and looting.
Four people were also arrested in Soldier Bazaar, Baldia and Saudabad, while weapons and motorcycles were seized from their possession.
