MUZAFFARABAD: An important session of the Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Legislative Assembly has been convened tomorrow (Monday) in Muzaffarabad to discuss the situation in the wake of Indian aggression along the Line of Control (LoC).

The AJK legislative Assembly is expected to unanimously pass a resolution condemning India for continuously violating the LoC agreement and resorting to unprovoked fire on the civilian population along the LoC.

Pakistani troops have been on alert, and there were no casualties on the Pakistan side during the past 24 hours, said Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) in a statement today (Sunday).

The leader of the House, Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider Khan, has also reached the country on Sunday after his visit to London.

He will take the House into confidence regarding his visit to Europe and discussion on the Kashmir issue with the Human Rights Committee of the European Parliament.

Earlier in the day, Havaldar Abdul Rabb, who embraced martyrdom in Indian cross-border firing at the LoC yesterday, was laid to rest with full military honours in Dera Ghazi Khan.

On Saturday, two Pakistani soldiers and two citizens were martyred as Indian forces resorted to unprovoked firing along the LoC.
