HIV endemic in Larkana, 410 children affected

LARKANA: HIV screening processes enter their 17th day in District Hospital, Rato Dero.

507 people have been diagnosed with the deadly and incurable disease since the first case was reported almost a month back.

Dr. Sikandar Memon, head of the Sindh AIDS contol programme revealed that,  13876 individuals have been screened thus far in the city of Rato Dero.

Out of the 507 diagnosed with the virus, 410 are children and 97 adults, revealed the Sindh AIDS control programme official.
