ISLAMABAD: Turkish ambassador to Pakistan Ihsan Mustafa Yurdakul on Monday said that the only solution to the problems between Pakistan and India was dialogue and not war.
Talking to media in Islamabad, Ihsan Mustafa Yurdakul said Turkey was aligned with Pakistan’s stance on the Kashmir conflict.
He said that Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu had stressed on the need for talks to find a permanent solution to the issue of Kashmir.
The Turkish ambassador said the foreign ministers of Islamabad and Istanbul had declared the resolution of the Kashmir conflict as crucial.

He admitted Pakistan’s role against terrorism and said that the brotherly country had backed Turkey in the face of every challenge and was one of the first to declare Fethullah Gulen a terrorist.
Yurdakul said that a strategic economic framework was being formulated between Pakistan and Turkey, which would soon be finalised.
He said Prime Minister Imran Khan’s visit of Turkey was very successful. He said Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan would visit Pakistan following the local body elections.
The constraints between the two arch-rivals further escalated today, as in the wee hours of February 26, Indian aircraft intruded the LoC near Muzaffarabad sector, however they scrambled back following timely response from the Pakistan Air Force (PAF).
Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Director General Major General Asif Ghafoor informed in a tweet, Indian Air Force violated the LoC and the prompt response from the Pakistan Air Force compelled Indian jets to go back.
He said “facing timely and effective response from the PAF, [Indian jets] released [their] payload in haste while escaping, which fell near Balakot.” However, no casualties or damage was reported during the incident, DG ISPR added.
