RAWALPINDI: Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa on Thursday said Pakistani people were the real power of the army, ARY News reported.
“We will always fulfill expectations of people,” General Qamar Javed Bajwa said during his visit to the Southern Command Headquarters in Quetta, media wing of the armed forces, the Inter Service Public Relations (ISPR) reported.
He said the nation had fully cooperated with the armed forces against terrorism and extremism.
The army chief said Pakistan Army was playing effective role on the border and played its full part in eradicating internal threats as well.

He said the Balochistan government would cooperate with Baloch people for their better future. “Balochistan is the future of Pakistan,” he said.
The COAS said the situation of security, economics and culture had improved.
Army Chief Qamar Bajwa also visited the School of Infantry Quetta. He was given separate briefings on implementation on the National Action Plan (NAP), security situation and Operation Raddul Fasaadd.
Federal Minister for Education and Professional Training Shafqat Mehmood on Thursday visited the National University of Technology in Islamabad.
The ISPR said the federal minister was apprised about the academic activities of the university.
