Pakistan’s top physically challenged body builder awaits govt help to participate in Mr Olympia

Naveed Butt, Pakistan’s top physically challenged bodybuilder, is awaiting government help to participate in Mr Olympia.

Butt is no ordinary bodybuilder for he not only beat polio but world’s top bodybuilders in international competitions.

He has four gold medals with three of them coming from Mr Olympia’s physically challenged category.

Butt had participated in 2013 edition of Mr Olympia after selling his gym but today he is penniless and is awaiting govt help to participate in this year’s competition.

Butt says he approached DG Sports on several occasions but never received a positive response.

Mr. Olympia is the title awarded to the winner of the professional men’s bodybuilding contest at Joe Weider’s Olympia Fitness & Performance Weekend—an international bodybuilding competition that is held annually by the International Federation of BodyBuilding & Fitness (IFBB).
