PM Imran terms ‘Sehat Insaf’ program blessing for the poor

PESHAWAR: Terming ‘Sehat Insaf Card’ program a blessing for the poor segments of the society, Prime Minister vowed to provide health insurance to the people of tribal districts on priority basis.

Addressing the inaugural ceremony of ‘Sehat Insaf Card’ program for the tribal districts, Prime Minister Imran Khan said that under the program, people of all seven tribal districts will avail free medical treatment at all major government and private hospitals.

On the occasion, he acknowledged the unprecedented sacrifices rendered by the people of tribal areas against the war on terror.

The prime minister said that the PTI government would launch a new program for poverty elimination in March and added the program would be started from the tribal areas. He said that all the institutes would work jointly to eliminate poverty in the country.

The prime minister said that his government  received economic crises and huge debt in heritage from the previous government. Talking about  the forth coming visit of Saudi Crown Prime Muhammad bin Salman, PM Imran said that the visit to bring the record investment in the country. He said that they would create new job opportunities by the investment.

Later, PM Imran Khan distributed Sehat Insaf Cards among the people of tribal areas in the ceremony.
