PAKPATTAN: A six-year-old girl was reportedly sexually assaulted at a village in Pakpattan, ARY News reported Tuesday.
According to police, a man, 45, sexually abused Amna after he found her alone at her house located in Kaliana area.
The victim was a student of a third grade. She was moved to hospital and doctors termed her condition critical. Police said the suspect had fled after committing the crime and raids were being conducted to arrest him.
A lady doctor has confirmed rape in a medical report. The police said they had registered a case against the suspect.

On March 29, police had claimed to have arrested a teenage suspect on charges of abusing and killing a seven-year-old boy in Haripur area of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Police said that the seven-year-old boy went missing and his body found from a garbage dump in the fields next day. Rescue officials shifted the body to Tehsil Headquarters (THQ) hospital for medico-legal formalities. Postmortem confirmed that the boy was killed after being abused.
Police on the direction of KP IG launched investigation and immediately arrested a suspect, 15-year-old boy, from his neighborhood. The suspect, in police custody, confessed of killing the boy. The police said that the suspect was the neighbor of the deceased boy.
