Two labourers die in Lahore gas leakage incident

LAHORE: Two labourers died and seven others fell unconscious on Thursday due to gas leakage, in a factory situated at Shafiqabad, an area of Lahore, ARY News reported.

According to the rescue sources, two workers working in a shoe factory lost their lives, while seven others faint due to gas leakage in the factory premises.

After being informed about the incident, the rescue teams reached the spot and shifted the faint labourers to Meo Hospital for medical treatment.

Meanwhile, the police have arrested the owner of the factory after the incident.

In a separate incident of gas leakage that took place on February 8, four members of a family died and two others fell unconscious due to suffocation, in a gas leakage incident in Quetta.

According to rescue sources, the awful incident took place in Quetta’s area of Pashtunabad, where a father along with his three children, lost his live due to gas leakage in the house.

Meanwhile, mother and a child fell unconscious due to intensity of gas as they were unable to breath.

After being informed about the mishap, rescues teams reached the spot and moved them to a nearby hospital.
