Iftikhar Chaudhry, speaking to media here in Multan, said that he had given the judgment in 2011 that political parties in Karachi have militant wings.
“All parties in Karachi including Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) have their militant wings. The government should ban those parties who do not disown their armed groups”, he added.
He added that the formation of judicial commission to probe the alleged rigging in 2013 general elections was a good step as it will clarify the situation.
The former chief justice vowed to prove wrong the allegations leveled by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan.
“I will expose Imran Khan’s intentions”, he said.
