‘Expo Pakistan’ postponed due to political uncertainty

Sources told the foreign investors and companies were lacking confidence to make it to the Pakistan over security issues and prolonged sit-ins extending over a month

The exhibition was scheduled to be held from October 23 to 26. Sources informed that none of participating countries have confirmed their participation so far due to political uncertainty in Islamabad.

In last Expo Pakistan, companies from various countries including Japan, Malaysia, Libya, South Korea, China, Brazil, Poland, Hong Kong, Afghanistan, United Arab Emirates and Bahrain had participated in the exhibition.

The Trade Development Authority will soon announce new date of the exhibition.
