Fawad Chaudhry rubbishes Maryam’s ‘no charges’ claim

LAHORE: In rejoinder to Maryam Nawaz’s remarks suggesting the probing team had no charges against the ruling family, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) spokesperson Fawad Chaudhry has rubbished her comments and alleged that she kept changing her statements.

Speaking to media, the PTI spokesperson claimed that the Panamagate Joint Investigation Team (JIT) had summoned Maryam Nawaz because of her brother Hussain Nawaz, who had admitted to owning properties in Britain.

Chaudhry said that if the prime minister’s asserts grow manifold, they are answerable to authorities concerned. “How did Maryam Nawaz become millionaire,” he queried.

He accused Maryam Nawaz to be the front-woman in the Panama saga and claimed the premier’s daughter of living a luxurious life which he claimed not less than that of Arab princesses.

Earlier today, Maryam Nawaz said that she had answered all questions posed by the JIT members. “And in return I asked just one question what we are accused of? They didn’t have an answer,” she claimed.

“This is the first JIT in the world that has been formed before knowing what charges to level against the ruling family,” she added.
