Fayyaz mocks Nawaz over eating royal diets in jail

LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader and former Punjab Information Minister Fayyaz ul Hassan Chohan on Monday said that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) was doing politics over the health of Nawaz Sharif, ARY News reported.

Talking to media in Lahore the PTI lawmaker questioned if PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif was suffering from heart disease then why is he eating meat in jail?

“Nawaz Sharif is sugar patient and eating meat along with rice on a daily basis,” claimed Fayyaz.

Fayyaz ul Hassan said that Nawaz eats melon and papaya during breakfast, adding that if something happened to Nawaz it would be because of his royal diets.

“How can a patient who is suffering from heart disease eat meat for regular 21 days”? asked Fayyaz. “Sugar patient never eats rice but unfortunately Nawaz eating it regularly.

The PTI leader termed the press conference of PML-N vice president Maryam Nawaz as ‘drama and a sob story’.

He added, “Maraym did hue and cry by copying the dramas of Star Plus (Indian channel).”

Taking a jibe at Opposition Leader in the Punjab Assembly Hamza Shehbaz, Fayyaz said that as per laws a person who is out of jail on production orders cannot do a press conference.

He requested Speaker Punjab Assembly Pervez Elahi to cancel Hamza Shehbaz’s production order.

The former provincial minister said that Prime Minister Imran Khan is a hero of Pakistan and the country will prosper under the leadership of him.
