Federal cabinet meeting summoned to review 100-day performance

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan has summoned a meeting of the federal cabinet on Thursday to brief on the specifies of 100-day performance of the government. 

According to details, PM Imran Khan will chair the session which will review the 100-day performance of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf government and will further discuss the political and economical scenarios of the country.

Sources said the premier will also deliberate on the progress of cabinet members, while Finance Minister Asad Umer will brief the cabinet on the economic situation of Pakistan.

Earlier today, PM Imran Khan received a 100-day performance report of different ministries, outlining ‘feats and failures’ of the ministers in 100 days of governance.

According to the report, Federal Minister for Railways Sheikh Rasheed and Minister of State for Communications Murad Saeed appeared to be having a tough contest in terms of edging past one another.

The report says that both the ministers completed their 100-day tasks in time. The ministry headed by Sheikh Rasheed registered an income of more than Rs 2 billion, while Murad Saeed’s ministry saw an addition of Rs 3 billion to the revenue in first 100 days in office.

Moreover, PM Khan has announced lately that he will present the progress report of all ministries before the nation on November 29.

The PTI-led government had recently launched a website for a public to know progress about the PTI’s 100-day agenda.
