According to details, the Ministry of Interior ordered the FIA to immediately lodge the case regarding the murder of Dr Imran Farooq, who was killed in London in September, 2010.
The case will be registered with FIA Counter-Terrorism Wing in Islamabad, nominating arrested suspects Khalid Shamim, Moazzam Ali and Mohsin Ali Syed. Sources said that it is likely to be lodged in next 24 hours.
A couple of days ago, Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan had announced to register Dr Imran Farooq murder case in Pakistan.
He said the government made the decision after the British authorities did not request it to hand over suspects arrested in the case.
