ISLAMABAD: The Federal Investigation Authority (FIA) summoned the former prime minister and Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) leader Yousaf Raza Gillani on May 08 in Trade Development Authority (TDAP) Scandal, ARY News reported on Friday.
According to the details, an appearance notice was issued to the former premier Yousaf Raza Gillani by FIA Multan along with the records related to Trade Development Authority.
It is worth mentioning here that the PPP leader Yousaf Raza Gilani has been exempted from attendance by the court since 18 December 2014, meanwhile, three cases was already registered against him in Karachi.

In the TDAP mega-scandal – allegedly involved corruption of billions – more than 70 cases were filed in 2013 against various companies and individuals.
It should be noted that the late PPP leader Makhdoom Amin Fahim was also nominated in the TDAP scandal.
In 2015, the court heard of Trade Development Authority scandal case and after initial hearing issued non-bailable arrest warrants for Yousuf Raza Gillani and Amin Fahim.
Officials on the occasion also presented challan of another corruption case against both the accused.
The court directed authorities to produce the accused on next hearing.
