Fool-proof security ordered in Sindh for Shab-e-Barat

KARACHI: On the occasion of Shab-e-Barat, Home Minister Sohail Anwar Khan has ordered the law enforcement agencies to adopt fool-proof security measures to ensure safety of citizens on this auspicious day.

The home minister has also asked the DIG traffic to clear roads leading to the graveyards and provide citizens hassle-free access.

Khan has also directed the police that it should patrol the areas surrounding mosques, Imam Bargahs and shrines and also conduct snap checking throughout Sindh to ensure complete security. Prayer meets organized in the wake of the holy occasion would also be provided with heavy security.

A complete ban has been imposed on the selling/buying of fireworks and any person involved would be arrested and severe action would be taken against them.

Saab-e-Barat “The night of forgiveness” falls on fifteenth day of Sha’ban and around two weeks before the beginning of Ramzan.

The management of the different mosques around the country have already made arrangement for illuminations and decorating mosques welcoming the holy day.

The Khateebs and Ulemas will deliver special sermons highlighting the significance of Shab-e Rat. On the occasion, special Dua will be offered for the progress and prosperity of Pakistan, the unity of Muslims world over and for their emancipation.
