LAHORE: A retired professor of Punjab University was stabbed to death by unidentified miscreants at her home on Tuesday, ARY News reported.
According to our correspondent Ulfat Mughal, Professor Tahira was living in the housing colony of the university.
Police said men carrying knifes barged into her residence and killed her and managed to flee the scene. We are investigating the case whether it’s a result of personal enmity or something else, they said.
Our correspondent reported that the housing colony of PU was located at a place where outsiders mostly don’t go.
Police said they would soon divulge more details of the incident. No arrest has been made so far, they added.
