Army Chief General Raheel Sharif had signed the black warrants of the four men convicted by military courts.
The convicts executed in Kohat Central Jail this morning included Noor Saeed alias Hafiz Sahib, Murad Khan, Israruddin and Inayatullah.
According to sources, the convicts were the facilitators of December 16, 2014 attack on the Army Public School in Peshawar, which claimed the lives of around 150 people- most of them schoolchildren.
An ISPR statement said the men were convicted for “slaughtering, suicide bombing, abduction for ransom and funding terrorists organisations”.
Earlier this month, four convicted terrorists involved in the Army Public School attack were hanged at a jail.
