According to details, unknown assailants opened fire at shop near Bacha Khan Chowk, Quetta, killing three people on the spot and injuring two others.
The attackers managed a clean getaway from the scene.
Rescue sources told that one injured of the attack succumbed to his wounds on the way to hospital.
The other injured who was in a critical condition at the hospital could also not sustain the deadly wounds.
Meanwhile, police teams reached the spot and collected circumstantial evidence, following which a probe was launched into the matter.
