Gen Raheel Sharif leaves for London

Pakistan’s High Commissioner in London and British military officials received General Sharif on his arrival at London airport.

The army chief will meet senior British military and political leadership during his three-day visit of London.

Gen Raheel Sharif and will also interact with British strategic institutions and think tanks.

The Army Chief is also expected to brief British leadership on Pakistan’s war against terrorism and the ongoing Operation Zarb-i-Azb in North Waziristan tribal region.
