Govt committed to minimize load shedding: Abid Sher Ali

Speaking to media in Peshawar today, Abid Sher Ali said government is committed to overcome power load shedding.

Talking about import of Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG), he said LNG terminal has been constructed in Karachi.

The Minister further informed that import of LNG will enhance power generation.

“1800 Mega Watt (MW)  of electricity will be added to the national grid before the advent of summer season”. he added,

Abid Sher Ali said around 80 per cent of gas shortage will be overcome by next winter.
