Gullu Butt files bail plea in high court

Gullu Butt, a key character of Model Town firing incident, in a plea in the court said that the charge of smashing glasses of cars against him is a  bailable offence.

The plea said that the police has added charges of terrorism and attempt to murder against the accused maliciously without any evidence and witnesses.

Petitioner Gullu Butt said that he was infuriated after violence by the workers of Minhaj-ul-Quran and smashed the vehicles out of anger. The petitioner said that the anti-terrorism law not applicable over the offence.

The petition claimed that the Anti-Terrorism Court ignored facts of the matter and rejected the bail plea of the petitioner.

The petition further said that the petitioner was not in a good mental health and pleaded to the high court to grant him bail.
