An Anti-Terrorism Court of Lahore yesterday handed out 11-years rigorous imprisonment to Shahid Nazeer aka Gullu Butt for indulging in vandalism during the Model Town incident on June 17 this year.
Gullu Butt who gained notoriety for his acts of vandalism was given jail uniform and assigned duty of dish washing in kitchen of the jail.
Gullu Butt, who said to a patient of heart and sugar, could be given reprieve in jail term for his duty in the prison.
Butt shot to prominence when captured live by TV channels smashing public property during a clash between Pakistan Awami Tehreek activists and police in Model Town on June 17, 2014 that claimed over 20 lives, most of them the PAT members.
