Hafiz Naeem ur Rehman

Hafiz Naeemur Rehman was born in Karachi in August, 1970. He obtained a Bachelors in Engineering from the NED University of Engineering and Technology and joined JI’s student wing Islami Jamiat-e-Talaba (IJT) in 1995.

His interest and hard work made him a popular student leader and he was soon elected President of its Islami Jamiat-e-Talaba Unit, Karachi City Unit and member of the Central Executive Council.

He becamenational President of Islami Jamiat-e-Talaba Pakistan in 1998 and served in that capacity for Two consecutive terms.

During his tenure the Jamiat organised several campaigns mobilising public opinion regarding education issues. Hafiz Naeem Ur Rehman became a member of Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan in 2000.

He served the Karachi unit as Assistant Secretary, Secretary, Deputy Ameer and Ameer of the city. He was elected to the Markazi Shura and the Executive Council of the Jamaat e Islami Pakistan. He represented Issues of Karachi at several platforms.

Naeemur Rehman is currently serving as JI’s Karachi Ameer.
