High-level meeting reviews progress in Sehwan blast investigation

KARACHI: A joint meeting of law enforcement agencies held at the Rangers Headquarters in Karachi reviewed progress made in the investigation of Sehwan blast.

The meeting, chaired by Director General of Sindh Rangers Major General Mohammad Saeed, devised a strategy to bring forth facts about the tragedy.

The overall security situation of the province and steps needed to maintain law and order also came under limelight.

The meeting was attended by the high-ranking officers of Rangers, police and other law enforcement agencies.

It should be noted that at least 80 people were killed and over 200 were injured in a suicide attack at the shrine of Hazrat Lal Shahbaz Qalandar in Sehwan on February 16.
